Class 1 Shunter Driver

Delta Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to start immediately working Monday to Friday - 1pm to 10pm. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused driver looking for regular work in a busy manufacturing environment. The Role: * Shunting trailers and vehicles around the site safely and efficiently * Manoeuvring vehicles into loading and parking bays * Coupling and uncoupling trailers * Carrying out vehicle safety checks * Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams * Following all site, road safety and health & safety procedures * Keeping the yard organised and ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly * Working to strict schedules and operational deadlines Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence * Previous shunting/yard experience preferred * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Good understanding of vehicle safety and site procedures * Excellent reversing and manoeuvring skills * Reliable, punctual and professional attitude * Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: * Competitive rates of pay * Regular and ongoing full-time temporary work * Full training and site induction * Friendly and supportive working environment Interested?
