Class 1 Shunter Driver

Job Description: Shunter - Must have CE Licence Location: Warrington, WA4 6XE Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 20:00 We are currently recruiting an experienced Shunter to manage our busy yard operation in Warrington (WA4 6XE) . This is a Monday to Friday position working closely with our warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient trailer movements. Working Hours & Breaks Monday to Friday: 08:00 20:00 Pay Rates - £18.50ph Key Responsibilities Shunting and moving trailers within the yard Positioning trailers into designated loading and unloading bays Conducting basic vehicle and trailer checks as required Maintaining a tidy and well-organised yard at all times Requirements Previous experience as a Shunter (essential) Valid licence relevant to shunting operations (as applicable) Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Strong awareness of health & safety within a yard environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work long shifts What We Offer Stable, full-time Monday to Friday work Competitive pay rates with enhanced weekend overtime Supportive team environment Ongoing work with consistent hours If you are an experienced shunter looking for a long-term opportunity in Warrington, we would like to hear from you.
