Class 2 Drive Here at HireGiant, we're looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers for a position with our well-established client based in Southampton.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
This particular company is well known on a nationwide basis supplying alcoholic beverages across the UK. We are needing Class 2 Driver to deliver alcoholic and soft beverages to a number of reputable customers across the West Midlands, you will be delivering a mix of pallets, cages and kegs. The Class 2 Drivers will be placed on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity of Temp to Perm.
The Role:
The Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday ongoing. The work starts immediately and involves delivering to restaurants, pubs & clubs across the Midlands. This job involvesa lot of manual labour which will require you to be happy with lifting.
Requirements for this role:
The Class 2 Driver will require:
Delivering kegs of beer and cages of drinks to pubs, bars, and commercial premises
Manual handling of loads using barrows and cages
Completing 815 drops per day , depending on route
Working alongside drivers mates where applicable
Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
Providing professional customer service at delivery points
Hours & Pay:
The start timewill be 06:00AM Monday to Friday (some Saturdays too), the Class 2 Driver will work upwards of 45-50 hours over a 5/6 day period - Monday to Friday. xwzovoh
The Class 2 Driver hourly rate for this role is:
£16.76 Per Hour - Monday to Friday/Saturday PAYE
Over time rates may be available in Peak.
