HGV Class 2 Driver | Class 2 Driver | Cat C Driver Newton Abbot | £17-£25 per hour | Monday-Friday / Tuesday-Saturday | 5am Starts | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a full-time temp to perm position with a well-established national business based in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for consistent work, early starts and competitive pay, with the potential to secure a permanent position. You'll be making multi-drop deliveries across the South West as part of a professional driving team, with a minimum of eight hours' pay guaranteed per shift. What We Offer £17 PAYE / £20 Umbrella PAYE Monday to Friday. £19 PAYE / £23 Umbrella PAYE Saturdays. Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per shift. Monday to Friday, 5am starts. Tuesday to Saturday working pattern available. Immediate starts available. Temp to perm opportunity. Modern, well-maintained fleet. Free on-site parking. Ongoing support from the specialist Acorn Driving Team. Key Duties Complete approximately 8-12 multi-drop deliveries per day across the South West. Safely drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle. Complete deliveries accurately, safely and on time. Provide a professional and customer-focused service at delivery locations. Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks. Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly. Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation. Requirements Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred. Good knowledge of road transport regulations. Reliable and flexible approach to work. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule. Interested?
