Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for a well-established client based in Bury St Edmunds. ***NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME*** Shift Patterns Available Night Shift Start time: 23:0000:00 810-hour shifts 23 runs per shift delivering to Delivery Units across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. Loading and unloading palletised parcels and collars using a tail lift. Sunday night to Friday night (no Saturday shifts). Scanning pallets onto the vehicle using a Handheld Terminal (HHT). Twilight Shift Start time: 15:00 17:00 810-hour shifts 23 runs per shift delivering to Delivery Units across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. Loading and unloading palletised parcels and collars using a tail lift. Sunday to Friday afternoons/evenings (no Saturday shifts). Scanning pallets onto the vehicle using a Handheld Terminal (HHT). Main responsibility is collecting inbound parcels, so vehicles usually return to the depot with a fuller load than when they departed. PAYE Rates Days: £16.66 per hour Twilight: £17.41 per hour Nights: £18.17 per hour Job Role Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle, safely delivering and collecting parcels from Delivery Units. Completing 23 delivery/collection runs per shift. Loading and unloading palletised parcels using a tail lift. Scanning pallets using a Handheld Terminal (HHT). Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. Completing all paperwork accurately and on time.
