The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 01:30am - 06:00am starts
Pay Rate:
PAYE
Nights - £16.16 per hour
Days - £15.11 per hour
ROLLED UP
Nights - £18.11 per hour
Days - £16.93 per hour
Location: Carlisle, CA6
Job Type : Ongoing
The role:
Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
. Some deliveries/ returns from addresses
Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
