Class 2 Driver / RCV Driver Location: Doncaster, DN3 Pay: £14.52 per hour plus £71.60 weekly bonus Equivalent hourly rate with bonus: Approximately £16.25 per hour Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00am4:30pm Working week: 40 hours We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for a full-time role carrying out residential kerbside collections in the Doncaster area. The role involves driving RCVs and dustcarts while assisting with loading during collections. This is a physically active role, so candidates must be comfortable getting in and out of the vehicle throughout the day and working as part of a collection crew. Duties Driving Class 2 RCVs and dustcarts Completing residential kerbside collections Assisting with loading Carrying out daily vehicle checks Following all road safety and site procedures Working effectively as part of a collection team Delivering a reliable and professional service Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Minimum of one year's Class 2 driving experience Previous waste or recycling experience is advantageous but not essential Comfortable with manual handling and physical work Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Able to work Tuesday to Friday Shift Pattern Tuesday to Friday 6:00am4:30pm 30-minute unpaid lunch 40 hours per week Pay & Benefits £14.52 per hour £71.60 weekly bonus Equivalent hourly rate including the bonus is approximately £16.25 per hour Recruitment Process Driver assessments are available from 10:00am onwards , with successful candidates progressing to induction. Candidates will also need to provide a record of their Driver CPC periodic training hours before being allocated a vehicle.
