Class 2 Driver

Location: Widnes / North West Pay: £14.87 per hour Hours: Up to 46 hours per week Shift: Monday to Friday, starting between 5am and 6am Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Refuse Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Widnes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for a temp-to-perm position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role * Driving Class 2 refuse collection vehicles * Collecting household and commercial waste * Working across the North West * Monday to Friday shifts * Start times between 5am and 6am * Finishing by 5pm at the latest, normally earlier * Maximum 12-hour shifts * No tramping or overnight stays * Completing all allocated jobs before finishing for the day Requirements * Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence * Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience * Good understanding of driver hours and road safety * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a team * Willing to complete an induction before starting Pay & Benefits * £14.87 per hour * Up to 46 hours per week * Monday to Friday * Temp-to-perm opportunity * ASAP start * No night-rate or overtime rate applicable * Weekends not normally required while temporary; weekend work may apply if you move onto a permanent contract If you're a reliable Class 2 HGV driver looking for regular weekday work in the Widnes area, this could be the opportunity for you
