Class 2 Driver

Location: Woolwich Charge Rate: £17.00 per hour Contract: Ongoing | Full-Time Role: Class 2 HGV Driver Shift Length: Typically around 8 hours We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established waste management operation based in Woolwich. The role involves working on the offensive waste collection side, carrying out refuse removal and waste collection services for commercial customers. 🚛 The Role * Driving a Class 2 HGV as part of a commercial waste collection operation * Collecting and removing offensive waste from customer sites * Carrying out refuse removal and waste collection routes * Visiting multiple commercial customer locations throughout the day * Working safely and efficiently in line with company procedures * Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe * Following allocated routes and collection schedules * Providing a professional service when dealing with customers * Typically working around 8-hour days ♻️ The Work This is a hands-on commercial waste collection role, so drivers must be comfortable working in a refuse and waste environment and carrying out regular manual handling.
