Class 2 HGV Driver

Class 2 HGV Driver - Permanent Role Location: Grays / West Thurrock Salary: £39,000 per annum Shift: Days We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established Freight, Air & Sea Logistics company on a permanent basis. The Role: Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle delivering and collecting freight Completing air and sea freight deliveries and collections Transporting goods safely and securely between customers, depots, and freight locations Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Loading and unloading freight when required Working closely with the transport team to ensure efficient daily operations Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 driving experience required Experience within freight, logistics, air or sea cargo would be advantageous Clean DBS required Good understanding of driver regulations and compliance Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach Benefits: Permanent position £39,000 per annum Day shifts Overtime opportunities available Stable long-term employment Opportunity to work for a leading freight and logistics providerLocation: Grays / West Thurrock Sector: Freight, Air & Sea Logistics Job Type: Permanent Position: Class 2 HGV Driver
