Job Description Class 2 HGV Multi-Drop DriverLocation: Weybridge, SurreySalary: £35,000 basic £1,200 accident-free bonus competitive annual discretionary bonus overtime benefitsHours: 42.5 contractual hours per weekMonday to Friday core hours 7:00am4:30pmStart and finish times may vary depending on route requirementsPermanent No overnight staysThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver looking for a structured Monday-to-Friday role with regular routes, no overnight stays and the security of joining a long-established business.Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing, supplying customers throughout the fabrication, engineering and signage sectors.The RoleYou will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to customers across Surrey, London and surrounding areas.Completing approximately 1015 customer deliveries per dayDelivering thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubingLoading and securing the vehicle safelyUnloading goods at customer premisesWorking to structured daily routesProviding excellent service to regular customersCarrying out daily vehicle checksOperating the tachograph correctlyReporting damages, discrepancies and vehicle issuesMaintaining a clean and presentable vehicleAssisting with warehouse or loading duties where requiredFollowing company Health & Safety proceduresThis is a physical delivery role and applicants should be comfortable assisting with the handling of materials.HoursThe contractual working week is 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday .Appropriate driving breaks are taken in accordance with drivers hours requirements.What Were Looking ForValid Class 2 / Category C licenceDriver CPCPrevious HGV driving experienceMulti-drop experience preferredProfessional and customer-focusedReliable and well organisedComfortable with manual handlingGood understanding of drivers hours and tachograph requirementsClean driving licence preferredSalary & Benefits£35,000 basic salary£100 per month accident-free bonus £1,200 per yearTotal fixed earnings potential of £36,200 before annual bonus and overtimeCompetitive annual discretionary bonus linked to company, branch and individual performanceOvertime paid at time and a quarter25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysCompany pension contribution match 2%Holiday purchase schemeFree on-site parkingMonday-to-Friday workingNo overnight staysStable, long-term employmentIf you are an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a secure role with regular routes and an established business, wed love to hear from you.
