People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable logistics operation.
This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as an LGV 2 HIAB Driver, Category C HIAB Driver or Truck Driver.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Start times from 07:00
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour

Ongoing, long-term position with a leading logistics provider
Competitive rates of pay
Weekly pay
First-day assessment and training provided where required
Ongoing support throughout your assignment
Day to Day Duties:
As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver , your duties will include:
Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing between five and 12 deliveries to stores across the UK each day
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure throughout transit
Delivering products using HIAB equipment
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Completing all required paperwork accurately
Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be successful as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver are:
Minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
Valid UK CPC Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
HIAB ALLMI Licence
No more than six penalty points for minor offences
No DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 convictions
No major endorsement codes
Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
Reliable and xkybehq professional approach to work
Desirable Experience:
Multi-drop store delivery experience
Previous experience using HIAB equipment
Training:
First-day driving assessment
Training provided where required
Ongoing industry-related training and support
