Our emphasis is on supporting adults with complex needs to fulfil their potential by developing vocational and life skills.About the RoleAs a Cleaner, you will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the service, ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for the people we support. You will work closely with colleagues to promote good cleaning practices, support residents to develop independence where appropriate, and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed. This is an important role that contributes directly to the wellbeing and quality of life of autistic adults living at the service. What You’ll Do Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the service in line with cleaning schedules.Ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials and supplies are available.Promote and model good cleaning and hygiene practices to colleagues and residents.Report any maintenance issues, breakages or repairs required within the service.What We’re Looking For Previous experience of cleaning in a paid role.Understanding of health and safety principles relating to cleaning activities.Interest in and understanding of autism, or a willingness to learn.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Click here for the Job DescriptionThis advert is for a part-time role for 10 hours per week.What we can offer you Pension– Auto-enrolled pension scheme.
