Client Manager

This modern digital accountancy firm operates a  4-day working week and a hybrid working model with complete flexibility on how the 34 hours are made up , offering an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained ACA or ACCA accountant looking for greater client responsibility and a strong work-life balance.As Client Manager, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of SME clients, acting as a trusted adviser and providing support across accounts and wider commercial matters.   You will combine client management, technical review and team leadership, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard while maintaining strong relationships with clients.Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients, acting as their key point of contact
• Advising business owners on accounts, tax and broader commercial matters
• Reviewing accounts and other work to ensure technical accuracy and quality
• Maintaining high levels of client service 
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
• Helping to improve workflow, consistency and delivery across the practice
• Building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to add value to clients
