Job summary

This role will require you to have worked in primary or emergency care as a Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic.

You are also required to have up to date knowledge and experience relevant to the role.

You will need to possess a non-medical prescribing qualification in order to apply for this position.

You will need to be able to see all undifferentiated presentations including paediatrics and gynaecology presentations.

Main duties of the job

Youll work across various locations in Suffolk

Youll work to deliver a patient centred approach to treatment, always maintaining a professional manner.

Youll be an experienced prescribing Nurse or Paramedic

Suffolk GP Federation CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company. Our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.

We have opportunities for Clinical Practitioners to join our bank workforce, working across our Urgent Care Service

What are we looking for?

We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.

Contract type: We have the opportunity to work with us on a bank PAYE contract

Pay rates:

  • Daytime and evening shifts: £43.82 per hour Nurse Practitioner & £33.63 for a Prescribing Paramedic
  • Overnight shifts: £54.77 per hour Nurse Practitioner & £42.04 for a Prescribing Paramedic
  • Enhanced Bank holiday pay

  • NMC Registration
