The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of an interventional clinical trials covering mainly the Cardiac-Renal-Metabolic research portfolio at St George's.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the research teams and wider multidisciplinary team in the management of their own caseload of clinical trials patients and be accountable for the achievement of local and national targets in relation to the service.
This exciting opportunity will suit a nurse with experience in the disease areas with special interest in research.

Qualification and Training
Essential
- Educated to diploma/degree level in Nursing
- Good Clinical Practice Certificate or willingness to be trained
- Relevant Post-Registration Training
Experience
Essential
- Relevant post-registration experience
- Previous experience in audit and evaluation
- Experience explaining complex concepts to patients in a clear simplified manner
Desirable
- Previous experience in Clinical Trial Delivery
- Experience in at least one of these areas: Cardiac, Renal, Endocrine
Skills
Essential
- Well developed clinical skills
- Demonstrates ability to prioritise workload
- Working well as part of the team from different areas
- Demonstrate Leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent use of relevant software specifically spreadsheets.

- Experience in ECG's, spirometry and phlebotomy
