I’m currently recruiting Mid/Senior/Manager GCP Cloud Engineer to join a fast-growing Cloud Managed Services team within a leading global consulting environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of AI, Data, and Cloud transformation, supporting enterprise clients in building, managing, and optimising modern cloud platforms

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for enterprise clients
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud services and applications
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, templates, and tooling (Python-based)
  • Implement and manage cloud security and compliance frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Support continuous improvement through DevOps and automation best practices
  • This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with GCP infrastructure and services
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Compute (VMs), Networking, Storage
  • Serverless architectures
  • Security and identity management
  • Experience with GCP networking (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, gateways, hybrid connectivity)
  • Proven ability to implement cloud security and compliance solutions
  • Strong Python skills for scripting and automation
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (Jira, ADO, pipelines, repos)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly
  • (For Managers and Seniors) Ability to lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions
