Our client based in Longton is a well established and growing manufacturing business based inLongton, specialising in high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions for a diverse range of customers.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experiencedCNC Programmerto join their machining team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
As a CNC Programmer / Operator, you will play a key role within the machining department, taking responsibility for theprogramming, setting and operation of CNC machinery using Fanuc controls.
You will ensure components are manufactured accurately, efficiently and consistently, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities Programming CNC machines usingFanuc controls
Setting and operating CNC machinery
Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine offsets
Producing components to tight tolerances and specifications
Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met
Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic fault-finding
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Working in line with company health and safety procedures
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience as aCNC Programmer / Operator
Strong working knowledge ofFanuc CNC control systems essential
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience machining components to tight tolerances
A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
Good knowledge of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday:8:00am 4:30pm
Friday:8:00am 3:30pm
