CNC Machining Setter/Programmer

CNC Machining Programmer/Setter/Operator Are you an experienced CNC machinist seeking a role within a highly revered engineering company, where overtime is readily available and enhanced benefits are on offer? Look no further!   Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machining Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our client based in Letchworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working within a busy and modern workshop environment.    This permanent position offers full time hours on a 37.5 hour basis. You will play a key role in supporting workshop operations during your shift, with responsibility for the programming, setting and running of various precision components.   Location: Letchworth Hours: Full time Day Shift (37.5 hour working week) Basis: Permanent Salary: £35-42.9K per annum (DOE)    Key Responsibilities Program machines (Doosan), both from scratch and from existing data Set and operate CNC machines Produce one-off press tools, working to tight tolerances Run a variety of precision components Confirm quality standards by conducting first-off inspections Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications Follow company procedures, including quality and Health & Safety guidelines Support across the workshop in line with continuous improvement initiatives    Requirements Proven experience in CNC milling (essential) Experience working in a similar capacity within a workshop environment Strong ability to set, operate, and program CNC machinery Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience with CAD/CAM software, with knowledge of Delcam or SpaceClaim desirable Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and support a team environment Flexible and reliable approach to work    What's in it for you 25 days of annual leave Regular overtime available at x1.5 rate Bonus scheme Pension scheme The opportunity to work in a highly revered precision engineering company   If you have the necessary experience and are ready to take the next step in your career, then please apply today
