CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist | Engineering & Manufacturing | Bristol £36,000-£42000 YT Technologies is proud to be a partner for Domin. They are looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to support delivery of Prototype hardware components from Design to product Validation teams. Reporting to the Prototype Manufacturing Manager and working with their CAM Programmer, you will be pivotal in further developing their world class hydraulic systems & their applications, through machining 1-off & low-volume components to the tightest of tolerance Essential Requirements: 1. 3+ years experience of setting & operating multi axis milling machines & CNC lathes 2. Knowledge & understanding of Fanuc / ISO G code programming 3. Competency of using hand measurement tools (EG. micrometres, vernier callipers, etc.) 4. Strong understanding of 2D drawings and GD&T principles 5. In depth knowledge of metal cutting tools & techniques 6. Proficient in machining & inspecting components to Beneficial Requirements: 1. Full online ISO/G-Code programming ability 2. Experience with Sub-spindle lathes & live tooling 3. Experience of machining Castings and/or AM components 4. Wire EDM programming & operation experience 5. Experience in setting & operating cylindrical grinders Benefits: Private medical insurance. 5% employer pension contribution, independent of personal contribution.
