CNC Machinist/MIller/Setter Location: Mansfield Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary £32400- £38500 Shifts Available Days Afternoons Nights We're recruiting experienced CNC Machinists to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Mansfield. These opportunities are suited to individuals with experience in CNC setting, operating, manual milling or multi-axis machining. Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities * Set and operate CNC milling machines. * Operate manual milling machinery where required. * Produce precision components to engineering drawings. * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Load materials, tooling and fixtures. * Monitor machining operations and make adjustments where required. * Carry out rework, finishing and deburring of components. * Inspect components using a range of measuring equipment, including Verniers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges and Height Gauges. * Change cutting tools and complete routine machine maintenance. * Work to tight tolerances and high quality standards. * Identify machining issues and support continuous improvement. * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. About You You'll ideally have: * Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator or Manual Miller. * Experience working with CNC milling machinery. * Multi-axis machining experience would be advantageous. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Experience using precision measuring equipment. * Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards. * Experience working to tight tolerances. * A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
