CNC Machinist

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner and a CNC Miller Set and operate high precision machine, working to tight tolerances. Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable. Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings. Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques Confident CNC Turner or Miller with programming experience would be an advantage Training and progression offered About you: Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerances Experience of operating, setting up and editing of Turning lathes or Milling on VMC or HMC Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items. Experience of tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage.
