The Role As a CNC Miller (5-Axis Setter/Operator), you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machinery to produce high-quality precision components. You will work predominantly independently on machines, while collaborating with the wider team when required. Key Responsibilities Setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines Preparing machines and completing setups to meet production requirements Producing precision-engineered components to required specifications Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Checking finished components to ensure quality standards are maintained Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required Working independently on machines with minimal supervision Collaborating with the wider engineering team when required Requirements Essential CNC milling setting and operating experience Experience working within precision engineering environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Team player with a positive, can-do attitude Punctual, disciplined, and reliable approach to work Candidates must be eligible to obtain or meet the requirements for BPSS clearance Desirable Experience working with 5-axis CNC milling machines Experience using Mazak systems Experience within aerospace machining Whats In It For You Salary between £29,000 - £32,000 per annum Shift allowance built into pay Overtime pay separate 25 days holiday per annum + statutory days On-the-job training and coaching will be provided Technical training will be provided by machine OEMs as required Career progression opportunities available On-site working 5 days a week Whats next?
