What you'll get 38-hour week with 12pm finish on Fridays 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays Scope for significant overtime Pension scheme Life assurance Company bonus scheme (subject to qualifying period) Opportunity for development and progressionKey responsibilities Setting and operating CNC machines (programming exp and advantage) Machine alignments CNC milling (CNC turning and CNC grinding experience also a bonus) Working with components and free-issue material of varying qualities Using hand tools and standard measuring equipment to tight tolerances Reading and understanding engineering drawings/processes Working independently with minimal supervision; strong team contribution Complying with relevant H&S requirements Maintaining ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards throughout the processSkills & experience Apprentice trained or time-served engineer (City & Guilds or BTEC level) Experience in precision subcontract machining/engineering Proactive problem-solver; hard-working and extremely reliable Flexibility with working hours when required to meet customer deadlines This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience.
