As a CNC Miller, you will benefit from: 195 hours holiday plus bank holidays (31 days total), including a Christmas shutdown Enhanced pension: 4.5% employer, 4.5% employee (9% total) Cycle to work scheme Employee assistance programme Free parking and uniform provided Death in service cover Free eye test plus £80 contribution towards glasses As a CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include: Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines using Mazak and Heidenhain controls Work across 3, 4 and 5 axis mills to produce components to tight tolerances Carry out first off quality checks prior to final inspection Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately Maintain machines and tooling to a high standard As a CNC Miller, your experience will include: Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter or Operator Strong working knowledge of Heidenhain controls (essential), with Mazak experience also valued Experience programming and setting 3, 4 and 5 axis mills Background in precision engineering or a similar high-tolerance manufacturing environment Confidence carrying out first off inspection to a consistent standard If you're looking for a role where your programming skills are genuinely relied on and your standards are matched by the business around you, this is worth a conversation.
