- £17.80 per hour plus 1.3x night shift enhancement CNC Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a CNC Miller (Level 2) to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Tewkesbury .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established engineering business, working within a precision manufacturing environment producing high-quality aerospace components.
The Role As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines using FANUC OI-MF control systems to manufacture precision prismatic components to customer drawings and specifications.
You will also carry out quality inspections and ensure high engineering and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC milling machines using FANUC OI-MF control systems.
Produce precision machined components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Carry out tool setting and offset adjustments.
Inspect your own work in line with drawing requirements and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Maintain a high standard of engineering workmanship.
Ensure your work area is maintained to excellent 5S housekeeping standards.
Work safely and efficiently to achieve production and quality targets.
About You We're looking for a motivated CNC Miller with strong machining experience and a commitment to producing quality components.
Essential Requirements Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
Good engineering knowledge and a high standard of workmanship.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience within aerospace component manufacturing.
Knowledge of FANUC OI-MF control systems.
