Job Title: CNC Miller programmer Commutable from: Portsmouth Salary: Up to £54k annually DOE plus overtime Hours: 40 hours per week Benefits: Career Progression Optional Overtime Competitive salary Great working environment Client Overview The Company is an established precision engineering company that design and manufacture products within the Aerospace industry. The Role Optima are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Machinist/ Programmer to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Portsmouth. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, maintaining equipment and supplies for a highly reputable company. The Candidate Experience in 5 axis experience. Experience in Heidenhain control. Programming not essential however would be preferred, (Hypermill) The candidate must be self-motivated and driven. Must have high attention to detail. Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment. Good communication skills are also essential.
