Skilled CNC Miller Shildon Full-time | Rotational Shift pattern   Wolviston Management Services are proud to be working in partnership with our amazing client to recruit a Multi-Skilled CNC Miller to join their growing and dynamic manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC professional with strong 3, 4 and 5 axis milling experience to take the next step in their career within a forward-thinking engineering environment. The Role You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and production targets. Working within a structured manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting continuous improvement. Key aspects of the role include: Setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines Working with Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CNC programmes Adjusting offsets and troubleshooting machining issues Carrying out quality checks and reporting any defects Deburring and finishing precision components  Using internal systems to track materials and job progress Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities  Performing routine maintenance and ensuring machines are kept clean and safe  Working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines  We're keen to speak with candidates who have: A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent hands-on experience  Minimum 3 years' experience in a CNC milling environment  Proven experience with multi-axis CNC machinery (3, 4 & 5 axis)  Strong knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls  The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately  High attention to detail and commitment to quality  A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement A good understanding of health & safety practices  Desirable (but not essential): Engineering apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent Experience within a similar manufacturing sector   Working Hours This role operates on a rotational shift pattern (38 hours per week): Early Shift (2 weeks): Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm Late Shift (2 weeks): Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm - 12:30am Why Apply?
