CNC Operator - Signage & Large Format Manufacturing Location: Gateshead Hours: 38 hours per week | Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent CNC Operator - Gateshead Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a permanent opportunity with a well-established manufacturing business? We're looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join a busy production team in Gateshead, working on the manufacture of high-quality components for signage and large format projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for setting up and operating 3-axis CNC routers, producing components accurately to technical drawings and customer specifications, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Signage experience is advantageous, but we're also keen to hear from experienced CNC Operators from other manufacturing environments. The Role You'll be responsible for operating CNC machinery to manufacture a variety of components, ensuring every product is produced accurately and within the required production deadlines. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Setting up and operating 3-axis CNC routers safely and efficiently. Operating AXYZ or Tekcel CNC machines. Creating and amending CNC programmes using VCarve CAM software, depending on experience. Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings.
