Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00am–4:30pm | Fri 8:00am–3:30pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate
About the Role
A well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer and multi-trade fit-out specialist is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join its manufacturing team.
The company delivers high-quality bespoke joinery for commercial, prime residential and leisure projects, working from its own design and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate Homag CNC machinery, including 3-axis and 5-axis routers and beam saws.
* Run CNC programmes and ensure machined components meet drawings and specifications.
* Work closely with the production office to ensure efficient and accurate production.
* Identify machining issues and report problems to management.
* Carry out daily, weekly and monthly machine checks.
* Complete routine maintenance and safety checks.
* Ensure machining tolerances and quality standards are maintained.
* Work collaboratively with the wider production and joinery teams.
Requirements
* Previous experience operating CNC machinery, ideally within joinery or woodworking.
* Experience with 3-axis/5-axis CNC routers and/or beam saws would be advantageous.
* Good understanding of wood machining, joinery machining or joinery construction.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production information.
* Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Microsoft Office experience is desirable but not essential.
