CNC Operator

Shift: Mon-Thurs (6am-2:30pm – Friday (6am-1pm) We’re on the lookout for specialists within CNC to join a global manufacturing leader with state of the art facilities, based in Ely.  you’ll be working out of a multistorey site, with an onsite canteen, entertainment spaces and direct train routes, assembling and packaging products which are considered the gold standards in their industry. You’ll load and run multi-pallet, 5-axos milling machines to produce precision in-house machined components for production, supporting the wider machine shop operation and assisting the CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production and prototype components.  What are we looking for? Working knowledge of fanuc based vertical mills / 5-axis mills Micro-level prevision, machine loading and operation experience, with basic understanding of engineering drawings Qualifications: Apprenticeship trained or similar Experience: 3 years + 5-Axis mills and wire EDM - nice to haveWhat’s in it for you?
