CNC Room Team Leader
to join their busy production team and take responsibility for overseeing CNC machining operations within their Acrylic Department. The company operates in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, quality and meeting customer deadlines are key. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC routing, laser-cutting and team leadership experience looking to take the next step in their career. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing a small team while setting and operating CNC routers and laser-cutting machines to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on time, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and coordinate a small team of CNC programmers and machine operators. Schedule workloads and manage machining capacity to meet production deadlines. Set and operate CNC routers and laser-cutting machines. Create and edit CNC programmes and toolpaths using CAD/CAM software. Carry out quality checks to ensure all components meet customer specifications. Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow. Troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions. Ensure a safe, organised and compliant working environment. Support, train and develop team members where required. About You Previous experience setting and operating
CNC routers and/or laser-cutting machines . Experience leading or supervising a manufacturing or engineering team. Confident using
CAD/CAM software
to create programmes and toolpaths. Strong understanding of quality control and working to engineering drawings. Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills. Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset. Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards. Experience with
EnRoute
and/or
LightBurn
