Bespoke Joinery Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established
bespoke joinery and furniture manufacturer
looking for an experienced
CNC Setter / Operator
to join their workshop team. The role will involve setting, operating and monitoring CNC woodworking machinery to manufacture high-quality bespoke joinery components from production drawings, CNC programmes and technical documentation.
The Role Set up and operate
CNC woodworking machinery . Manufacture components from approved CNC programmes and production drawings. Load and unload sheet materials and components. Select and change tooling for different machining operations. Read and interpret drawings, cutting lists and machining documentation. Carry out machine set-up and test runs where required. Monitor machining accuracy and check finished components against drawings and tolerances. Identify tooling, machining or programme issues and report them promptly. Carry out routine machine cleaning and daily maintenance checks. Work closely with the wider production, CNC programming and bench joinery teams.
Requirements Previous experience operating CNC woodworking machinery within a joinery, cabinetry or furniture manufacturing environment. Confident reading production drawings and machining information. Good understanding of CNC tooling, set-up and machining processes. Able to work accurately to dimensions and tolerances. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Good awareness of workshop health & safety. Reliable, organised and able to work effectively within a production environment.
