Mill Turn Setter/Operator Location: Chessington, Surrey Shift: Days | Early Finish on Fridays Salary: Competitive, DOE Actio Engineering Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Chessington. Our client is seeking an experienced Mill Turn Setter/Operator to join their machining team on a permanent day shift. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced multi-axis machinery, including a DMG MORI NTX300, producing high-precision components for demanding industries. Key Responsibilities * Setting and operating a DMG MORI NTX300 Mill Turn * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications * Selecting and setting tooling and offsets * Producing first-off inspections and carrying out in-process measurements * Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required * Working to tight tolerances and maintaining high-quality standards * Ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently * Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Requirements * Proven experience as a CNC Mill Turn Setter/Operator * Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings * Strong understanding of tooling, cutting parameters, and machining processes * Experience using inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer? * Permanent day shift * Early finish every Friday * Competitive salary depending on experience * Overtime opportunities * Good benefits If you are an experienced Mill Turn Setter/Operator looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
