Job description:
ECHO Personnel is recruiting an experienced CNC Setter for a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Corby.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional to join a successful and growing business offering a permanent position within a modern manufacturing environment. The role is suited to an experienced engineer who takes pride in producing high-quality components while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
Salary: £35 per annum (depending on experience) Additionally £1,800 annual attendance bonus paid monthly (£150 per month)
Key Responsibilities:
Set and prepare CNC milling and CNC lathe machines for production
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
Carry out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment
Use Vernier callipers and other measuring tools to ensure components meet required standards
Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot machining issues during production
Maintain high levels of quality while working to production schedules
Ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently
Follow all company health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience working as a CNC Setter
Experience setting both CNC milling and CNC turning (lathe) machines
Previous experience using HAAS and Fanuc control systems
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using Vernier callipers and precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality components
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment
A proactive and reliable approach to manufacturing and problem-solving
