CNC Sliding Head Turner / Setter-Operator (Citizen) | Fareham | Permanent | Days A well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Fareham is looking to add skilled CNC Sliding Head Turner Setter/Operators to its machining team, following continued growth. The company produces high-specification precision components for the aerospace, defence, nuclear, space and oil & gas sectors small-batch, tight-tolerance, high-variety work. The role: Setting and operating CNC sliding head lathes Citizen experience highly desirable Working on Fanuc controls to tight tolerances, right first time Bar-fed production of precision components across a range of exotic and standard materials First-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment Tooling, offset adjustment and maintaining quality throughout the run We're looking for someone with: Proven CNC sliding head (Swiss-type) turning experience Citizen highly preferred Confidence on Fanuc controls Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances A background in precision, subcontract or high-spec manufacturing Time-served or equivalent hands-on experience In return: Permanent role, day shift Competitive salary (£40,000+ depending on experience) Established, growing business with high-quality, varied work Stable, long-term environment in a specialist manufacturing sector Commutable from Fareham, Portsmouth, Gosport, Southampton, Whiteley and surrounding areas.
