CNC Turner Programmer/Setter
to work in
Crewe . Job Role:
Programming, setting and operating CNC Turning machines using FANUC controls, working from engineering drawings to produce bespoke one-off and small batch components. The role involves machining a variety of materials, including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, plastics, and composites, to tight tolerances. You will be responsible for producing first-off samples for inspection and ensuring accuracy throughout the machining process. Job Details: Pay: Up to £18 per hour (£38,000 per annum) Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week) Duration: Permanent Benefits: Pay review after 3 months Overtime available at enhanced rates (x1.5) 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 31 with service) Company pension scheme Free onsite parking Essential Skills & Experience: Programming CNC Turning machines Setting and operating CNC Turning machines Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Desired Skills & Experience: Experience using FANUC controls Experience in a contract machine shop Essential Qualifications: City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Desired Qualifications: CNC Programming qualifications CAD/CAM qualifications Commutable From:
