Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a CNC Turner to work in Wirral Job Details: Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm, 2:30pm finish on Friday Duration: Permanent Benefits: Overtime available Training and development opportunities provided On-site showers & canteen 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Fuel allowance for candidates over 20 miles from workshop Bridge/Tunnel toll costs covered by our client Job Role: The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres, including XYZ and Hurco lathes. The role includes reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture bespoke components and small batch orders, changing tools as required, and ensuring all work meets tight tolerances. Essential Skills & Experience: Programming & setting of CNC Turning centres Working to tight tolerances Working from engineering drawings Experience working in a contract machining environment on bespoke, one-off jobs and small batch orders Desired Skills & Experience: Experience working with CNC Milling machines CAD/CAM programming or similar experience Manual machining Essential Qualifications: HNC/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent Desired Qualifications: CAD/CAM programming Manufacturer training courses (Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain etc) Commutable From: Deeside, Wrexham, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Flint, Holywell, Mold, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Runcorn Similar Job Titles: CNC Programmer, CNC Machinist, CNC Turner, CNC Programmer/seter, CNC Setter, Precision Engineer, Mechanical Engineer For further information about this role, please apply now.
