CNC Turner – Night Shift & Quality Inspector – Day Shift Location: Staffordshire Salary: £17–£20 per hour depending on experience Job Type: Permanent We are recruiting for two positions within an established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Staffordshire. CNC Turner – Night Shift We are looking for a time-served CNC Turner with strong programming and setting experience on Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes. The role requires: * Time-served CNC Turner * CNC programming and setting experience * Fanuc control experience * Ability to read and work from engineering drawings * Experience producing precision components to tight tolerances * Sliding Head Lathe experience would be a major advantage * Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards Hours & Pay: * £17–£18 per hour depending on experience * 39 hours per week * 4-night working week * Additional 7 hours overtime available * Night shift paid at 1.33x hourly rate * Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate Quality Inspector – Day Shift We are also looking for an experienced Quality Inspector or Machinist/Inspector with CMM programming experience. The role requires: * Previous machining and/or inspection experience * Experience programming CMM machines * Ability to program from CAD models * PC-DMIS experience highly desirable * Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances * Experience within a precision engineering environment * Excellent attention to detail Hours & Pay: * £18–£20 per hour depending on experience * 39 hours per week * Monday–Thursday: 07:30–16:30 * Friday: 07:30–12:30 * 2 x 10-minute paid breaks and 1 x 30-minute unpaid meal break * Overtime available before and after shifts * Friday afternoon overtime available until 14:30 These are excellent opportunities for experienced engineering professionals looking for a permanent position with a well-established precision engineering company.
