to join our client, a world-leading aerospace manufacturing organisation based in
West London . This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner with strong
Fanuc programming, setting and operating experience
to work within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture complex, high-precision components to demanding tolerances and quality standards. Working on a permanent night shift, you will play an important role in maintaining production output while ensuring exceptional levels of accuracy and workmanship. Key Responsibilities
Programme, set and operate
CNC lathes , predominantly using Fanuc controls. Manufacture complex, high-precision components to engineering drawings and specifications. Create, edit and optimise CNC programmes at the machine. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds and machining parameters. Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manufacturing instructions. Work to tight tolerances while maintaining consistently high standards of quality. Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components. Identify and resolve machining or programming issues efficiently. Make adjustments and offsets where required to maintain component accuracy. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant quality, safety and manufacturing procedures. Work effectively both independently and as part of a highly skilled engineering team. Support production targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality and precision. Skills & Experience
The successful CNC Turner will ideally have: Proven experience working as a
CNC Turner, CNC Lathe Programmer or CNC Machinist . Strong working knowledge of
Fanuc controls and programming . Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes. Experience manufacturing complex, high-precision components. The ability to confidently read and interpret
engineering drawings and technical specifications . Good understanding of machining processes, tooling and cutting parameters. Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach. Strong practical problem-solving skills. Previous experience within
aerospace, precision engineering or another high-tolerance manufacturing environment
would be advantageous. Flexibility and willingness to work permanent night shifts. Night Shift Pattern
The position operates on a
permanent night shift from Sunday night through to Friday morning : 21:55 (9:55pm)
06:00 (6:00am) The working week therefore begins on
