CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (38-hour week) - £40,000-£45,000 OTE Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-12:00 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Company Interaction Technical is working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Northampton. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their highly skilled machining team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business producing precision-engineered components for a range of demanding industries, working with specialist materials and advanced machining techniques. What's on Offer • £35,000 - £38,000 basic salary • Overtime readily available paid at £25 per hour midweek and £30 per hour weekends • 33 days annual leave including bank holidays • Company pension scheme • Ongoing commitment to training and progression • On-site parking • Clean and modern working environment • Early finish every Friday • Permanent long-term opportunity with a growing business The Role As a CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities • Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines • Produce precision components to customer specifications • Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings • Machine a variety of materials including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy • Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances • Conduct in-process and final quality checks • Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards • Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For • Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Experience machining a range of materials, including exotic alloys • Competent using inspection and measuring equipment • High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work About Interaction Recruitment Interaction Recruitment has specialist consultants operating across key sectors, including: • Technical & Engineering • Industrial • Commercial • Finance & IT • Hospitality We provide both permanent and temporary recruitment solutions nationwide.
