CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator

to join their highly skilled machining team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business producing precision-engineered components for a range of demanding industries, working with specialist materials and advanced machining techniques.

£25 per hour midweek

The Role As a CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities • Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines • Produce precision components to customer specifications • Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings • Machine a variety of materials including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy • Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances • Conduct in-process and final quality checks • Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards • Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For • Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Experience machining a range of materials, including exotic alloys • Competent using inspection and measuring equipment • High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
