CNC Turner – Mazak Lathe Programming & Machining My client are looking for a highly skilled and motivated CNC Turner, with strong experience in Mazak lathe programming and machining, to join their high-performance engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components. Working within a technically demanding and fast-paced environment, the role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Responsibilities CNC Machining & Programming • Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol • Producing precision components to tight engineering tolerances • Selecting appropriate cutting tools, workholding and machining strategies • Setting tooling, offsets and work coordinates accurately • Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications • Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection of machined components • Using precision measuring equipment and hand tools to verify component dimensions • Identifying and resolving machining, tooling and programming issues • Making programme adjustments and optimisations to improve component quality and machining efficiency • Machining a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, steel and titanium • Supporting both one-off...
