CNC Setter / Operator (Turning) Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Job Type: Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Southend-on-Sea for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience setting and operating both fixed head and sliding head CNC lathes. The Role * Setting and operating CNC turning machines * Working on both fixed head and sliding head lathes * Producing high-quality precision components * Reading and working from engineering drawings * Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment * Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment Requirements * Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines * Experience with both fixed head and sliding head machines * Ability to read engineering drawings * Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers * Reliable with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail What's on Offer * £16.00 - £20.00 per hour depending on experience * Permanent full-time position * Monday to Friday working hours * Stable, long-term opportunity with an established precision engineering company * Supportive working environment If you're an experienced CNC Setter looking for your next opportunity, apply today with your latest CV.
