Multi-Skilled CNC Turner Location: Shildon Wolviston Management Services are supporting the recruitment of a Multi-Skilled CNC Turner on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC professional to join a growing manufacturing environment, contributing to high-quality production output and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in machining operations, ensuring components are produced efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.  Key Responsibilities Set, operate, and adjust CNC turning machines, specifically Victor CNC lathes with Fanuc controls  Interpret engineering drawings and CNC programmes to manufacture precision components  Monitor machining operations and make necessary tool offsets and adjustments Carry out in-process quality inspection, ensuring components meet specification Perform manual deburring and fettling of finished parts Identify and troubleshoot machining or production issues efficiently Utilise internal systems to check materials, routing, and production requirements Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with 5S manufacturing principles Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines Ensure accurate completion of production and quality documentation  Adhere strictly to health & safety standards and procedures Candidate Requirements Essential Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience)  Minimum 3 years' experience in a CNC turning role Proven experience setting and operating CNC machines  Experience with Fanuc control systems  Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach Good numeracy and literacy skills  Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements  Flexible to work required shift patterns Right to work in the UK  Desirable Experience within a similar manufacturing or engineering sector Ability to operate CNC milling machines  Strong problem-solving capability  Continuous improvement mindset  Flexible and adaptable approach to work Health, Safety & Compliance Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures Use equipment responsibly and report hazards promptly Take responsibility for personal safety and that of colleagues Working Hours This role operates on a rotational shift pattern (38 hours per week): Early Shift (2 weeks): Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm Late Shift (2 weeks): Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm - 12:30am Equality & Inclusion Our client is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
