Are you passionate about supporting children, young people and families to achieve positive outcomes?

We are looking to recruit a Co-ordinator - Support and Resource Centre, to join our Parenting and Family Support Team within Porth Cymorth Cynnar, on fixed-term basis, until 1 September, 2027. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity where you'll ensure children and families across Ceredigion receive the support, resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

Working as part of Team Ceredigion and alongside partner organisations, you'll support the delivery of activities and interventions that improve outcomes for children, young people and families, helping to build resilience and provide practical support when it is needed most.

You'll coordinate the day-to-day operation of Penparcau Family Centre, helping to create a welcoming, safe and effective environment for children, families, staff and visitors. You'll also take the lead in managing and monitoring the resources used across the Early Intervention Service, ensuring they are used effectively to meet the needs of our communities.

The role includes supporting and supervising activities with children, young people, adults and families, coordinating staff and volunteers, monitoring resources and budgets, and working collaboratively with a range of professionals and organisations to deliver high-quality services and support.

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is committed to making a positive difference and can build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues and partner agencies. You'll hold an NVQ Level 4 in Business Management (or equivalent) or have at least three years’ relevant experience.

You'll be an organised and effective communicator with the ability to lead and support staff and volunteers, develop positive partnerships, manage resources and workloads, and deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of children and families. You'll have strong IT skills, an understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation, and a person-centred approach that promotes equality and inclusion.

The ability to travel throughout Ceredigion and transport service users as required is essential to this role. Applicants must have access to suitable transport.

We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers. All successful applicants requiring support to learn or improve their Welsh language skills will receive support during work time to help them reach the desired standard.
