"Manage renewals. Handle MTAs. Support Account Executives."
This role does all of that, but the real reason it's worth considering is the business behind it.
We're working with a highly respected independent broker that's continuing to grow and is looking to add an additional Commercial Account Handler to its team. This is a growth hire, not a replacement, and you'll be joining a business that has built an outstanding reputation for both client service and staff retention.
The team already has plenty of experience, with several handlers having over 15 years' commercial insurance experience. What they're looking for is someone who has a solid foundation in commercial broking and wants to continue developing their technical knowledge whilst working alongside experienced professionals.
You'll be involved in the day-to-day management of a varied commercial portfolio, including renewals, MTAs, insurer negotiations, client servicing and supporting Account Executives. The business handles a broad mix of Commercial Combined, Liability, Property, Contractors, Fleet, Engineering, Manufacturing and wider Mid-Market commercial risks, providing excellent exposure across multiple classes of business. xwzovoh
This would suit somebody who has perhaps gained 2-3 years' experience in commercial insurance and feels ready for broader exposure, more complex risks and the opportunity to learn from a genuinely experienced team.
What they're looking for:
2-5 years' commercial insurance experience
Experience within an insurance broker environment
Knowledge of commercial products and renewals
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine desire to learn and develop
Acturis experience would be beneficial, but not essential
What's on offer:
Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
10% non-contributory pension
Private medical cover
Discretionary bonus
Exposure to a broad range of commercial risks
Supportive and highly experienced team
Long-term career stability within a successful independent broker
If you're looking for a role where you can become a better commercial insurance professional rather than simply process another renewal book, we'd be keen to speak with you.
