The organisations entire product portfolio is designed in-house, manufactured offshore, shipped to their headquarters in Carrickfergus, and distributed to retailers across the UK, ROI and Europe.
They are now looking for a talented individual to join the finance team as a part-time Commercial Accountant initially on a fixed-term 13-month basis.
The role will be 3 days per week totalling 23.25 hours per week.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in the financial activities within Douglas and Grahame Ltd.
The main focus of the role will be to maintain a commercial outlook and continually monitor and review costs, sales performance, etc to support the profitability of the Douglas and Grahame Ltd group of companies.
Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial organisation
- A recognised accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- A strong working knowledge of computerised accounting/payroll systems and spreadsheets
- A strong communicator, capable of presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Analytical with excellent financial modelling and data interpretation skills
- Applicants should also demonstrate leadership qualities, sound commercial understanding, and have the interpersonal skills required to contribute at a management level The Benefits
