Commercial Electricians Immediate starts

We have an exciting new opportunity for a permanent Electrician to join us on our responsive repairs and maintenance team at the Orbit Housing branch. This will be covering a patch of social housing properties across Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas, therefore travel will be part of this role and a full UK driving licence is essential and the core working hours are Monday to Friday Start at 8.00am-4:30pm We provide a competitive salary + Company Van, Fuel card and Power Tools.+ Generous paying ON CALL Rota (Approx. Fortem's contract with Orbit Housing covers over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing. Carry out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. * Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations * Installation, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report * Completing reactive maintenance work as per the specification. * Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects. * NVQ Level 3 Electrical (2356) with AM2 portfolio to support your experience (not just EAL) Full UK driving license with less than 6 points and no recent driving bans * Must be able to pass a Basic DBS Check Unvented Hot Water Certificate Water Regulations Certificate Part P * Testing & Inspecting Certificate 2391 or C&G 2377 * PAT Certificate Company Van and Fuel card * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays & your birthday off* (34 days total) * Pay review every year * 26 weeks full pay maternity leave * 8 weeks full pay paternity leave * Discounted gym memberships at national and local gyms * Vast directory of training on bespoke in-house Learning Management System and Fortem Advance schemes available for career progression * 24/7 access to GP appointment for you and your immediate family from Day 1 * Private pension employer contribution 3-6% of your base salary into your pension pot * Life Insurance, dental care, private healthcare insurance and eye care vouchers * Cycle-to-work scheme, mobile phone provider shopping discounts & more Fortem are Social Housing property experts and part of the Willmott Dixon Group.
