Commercial Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas Salary: £48k Contract: Permanent Hours: 45 Hours Per Week We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a major UK supermarket contract in the Birmingham area. This is a mobile role covering a number of retail sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating, mechanical and HVAC equipment. The Role You will be responsible for: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple sites Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers and heating systems Working on mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and fans Fault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment Completing minor alterations and installations within your technical competence Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending suitable replacement equipment Ordering parts and spares when required Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and company procedures What We're Looking For * Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer * Relevant Commercial Gas qualifications * Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience * Experience working with commercial boilers and associated mechanical plant * Previous Facilities Management or mobile maintenance experience would be beneficial * Full UK Driving Licence * Comfortable working across multiple sites within the Birmingham area Package & Benefits * £48,656.73 total salary, inclusive of standby payment * Paid travel time * Overtime opportunities * 33 days holiday * Company van * Private healthcare * Private pension * Life insurance * Employee discounts * Additional company benefits This is a great opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a secure, permanent position with a strong salary and benefits package on a well-established retail contract.
